Welcome & Snow

So, I have been living in Los Angeles for over a year and a half now and I've come to realize that working, and continuing to work, as an actor is constantly evolving...thus...this blog. With social media being as prevalent as it is nowadays, the best way to stay active is to always BE ACTIVE! ALWAYS! I am fairly decent at staying up on Facebook and Instagram without annoying people but I've realized that gaining and maintaining followers takes more than just posting a picture once a week. I have updated and redesigned my website: www.kayla-carlyle.com It still needs a lot done to it but it's a start, not to mention, it took my four hours to do that much alone!

I'm planning on using this as part of my website, a way to see behind-the-scene photos and goofiness, as well as posting some ootd/fashion fun!

So, first post done. :)

 YESTERDAY!!

Adam and I went to Ice Kingdom: Chill at the Queen Mary and it was a blast! They have a huge lot filled with fun activities for all ages (even though we totally acted like children).

We got there around 5pm so we could go ice-skating at sunset! It was beautiful. AND it wasn't busy!! Haha, we went on a Wednesday for that very reason.

After skating, we got some hot drinks and enjoyed the acts and fun shops they had set up. There were elves walking around entertaining kids and sweet older ladies giving out cookies! Then we played in a giant snow-globe and threw fake snow at each other (that followed us all the way home).

Then FINALLY the indoor ice sculptures!! They gave us oversized coats and sent us in. I must say, the exhibit was a bit underwhelming. I was really expecting it to be more like the Ice exhibit at The Gaylord Texan (in Texas). The rooms were a little smaller and the ice wasn't as clean and detailed as the one back home. The slide setup was tiny! Still wonderful though! We had a great time!! It was a great date day.
